Power Supply Schematic
A power supply schematic is a drawing illustrating, in symbols, the components used in a power supply and how they are interconnected. This information is required to understand the functioning of the power supply, and especially its operating features (such as current limiting and its interfacing with analog or digital control inputs, etc.). A power supply schematic is virtually essential to service a power supply that is not operating properly. Because a power supply schematic indicates the ratings of the various components, it aids in the identification of unmarked components that have failed.
